Hip-Hop is a physically challenging, expressive dance form with roots in African dance rhythms, street dance and break-dancing. Dancers will start class with a high energy warm-up with isolation's, core strength and musicality. A wide variety of Hip-Hop styles like, Locking, Popping and Breaking will be taught in this expressive, fun-filled class. All core Hip-Hop classes begin in September and culminate in a year-end performance in May.
Hip-Hop I/II (K-2) No previous experience required. This fun and engaging introductory Hip-Hop class is geared for Kindergarten through 2nd graders who are interested in dance, music and rhythm. Dancers will learn basic Hip-Hop steps and vocabulary in a fun, energetic class.

Hip-Hop III/IV (3-6th) 3-4 years of previous experience recommended. Dancers will continue to learn a variety of Hip-Hop skills and vocabulary with isolations, core strength and musicality. A wide variety of Hip-Hop styles like, Locking, Popping and Breaking will be taught in this expressive, fun-filled class. Dancers will also be challenged in rhythmic footwork, syncopation skills, melodies and learning complex choreography.
