The Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation needs your help to ensure the future of quality dance education and performance in Westchester. Regardless of age, ability, or financial means, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from this transformation art form.

Your donation supports:

Outreach Classes & Performances: Faculty members teaching at libraries, nursery schools, community and senior centers, schools for special populations, hospitals and residential/group homes.

Adaptive Dance Programs: An integrated dance class for people with learning differences, physical and developmental disabilities both on and off site. Established with start-up funding from the Xerox Foundation, expanded with a grant from The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, and supported through on-going donor contributions.

Annual Community Concerts and Outreach Performances: Steffi Nossen Dance Company offer performances through community concerts and educational demonstrations to more than 1,000 underserved and special needs children and adults across Westchester annually. The concerts are free of charge to clients of social service agencies, community groups, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. 

Financial Aid and Scholarships: The Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation offers financial aid and scholarships to students in need at the beginning of each school year. Payment plans may also be arranged upon enrollment. Financial assistance is needs-based and determined by a sliding scale. Applications are available for new and existing students. 

Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation has awarded over $170,000 since 2018

Artistic and Professional Support: The Foundation provides a variety of opportunities and other services to the professional dance community by supporting emerging and established artists. They include commissioned works, space grants for the creation and rehearsal of works, company in residence programs, as well as a venue for presenting new works in our Choreography Showcase.
