Technique Ballet

Our Technique Ballet dance classes are for beginner to advanced dancers who want to study classical Ballet vocabulary while enhancing their overall aesthetic, quality and attention to detail. Dancers learn the principles of ballet technique and placement while developing strength through proper alignment and a fuller understanding of ballet curriculum. Placement at teacher’s discretion.

No experience required! This class is a great way for teens to try something new as they learn the foundations of Ballet technique.

This class is designed for students with 2-3 years prior Ballet training. Students will focus on proper Ballet technique, strength, flexibility and body alignment while advancing their knowledge of barre, center and traveling exercises in class. The class incorporates prior Ballet vocabulary into more complex and challenging combinations.

Students will continue to work on advancing their Ballet skills with a higher level of understanding of Ballet vocabulary and curriculum. Focus is on proper execution of Ballet technique, strength, flexibility and body alignment. Additional attention is given to musicality, movement quality and working anatomically correct. 3-4 prior years of Ballet required.

Our highest level Ballet students will continue to build on a more advanced technical class while fine tuning their musicality, attention to quality and artistry. The class incorporates prior vocabulary and curriculum into more challenging combinations. Students must have a mastery of Ballet vocabulary and technique to enroll in this class.
