Parkinson’s Dance

We have added more Parkinson’s Dance Classes Throughout The Year!

Join our FREE Parkinson’s Dance Classes based on the internationally acclaimed Dance for PD program, originated as a collaboration between the Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Parkinson’s Group. Our teachers are professional dancers trained in the Dance for PD® method.

Enjoy a dynamic and fun hour of dance and artistic exploration in a congenial group. Come with a partner, friend, or caregiver. Stand up or sit down in class. No dance experience needed! Weekly classes teach movement sequences from Ballet, Jazz, Modern dance, musical theater, folk dance, tap, improvisation, and social dancing. Classes address Parkinson’s Dance specific and related neuromotor concerns: balance, coordination, flexibility, gait, and physical confidence while simultaneously developing artistry, grace, and creativity.
