SummerDance 2026: Drop-In Classes & 6-Week Series Ages 3–12
SummerDance offers six weeks of flexible, high-quality drop-in classes designed for young dancers ages 3–12. Families may choose to attend classes weekly, drop in as schedules allow, or commit to a class series—all while enjoying consistent instruction in a supportive and engaging environment.
Classes are organized by age and style and focus on building strong technical foundations, creativity, musicality, and confidence. Whether your dancer is brand new or continuing their training, SummerDance classes provide a fun and enriching way to stay moving all summer long.

Our SummerDance Young Movers Ballet/Tap class is a fun and engaging introduction to dance for ages 3- 5. Dancers are introduced to the foundational vocabulary and positions of classical Ballet, alongside basic rhythms and steps of Tap, all in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Families can enjoy flexible enrollment options—sign up for 1 class, 3 classes, or the full 6-week series—making it easy to fit dance into your summer schedule. This class is a wonderful opportunity for young movers to explore multiple dance styles while building coordination, musicality, and confidence.
No previous dance experience required.
SummerDance Ballet for ages 6- 8 offers a fun, supportive introduction to classical ballet technique while building strong foundational skills. Students focus on proper alignment, essential ballet vocabulary, and age-appropriate dance etiquette.
Through classical exercises, ballet-based improvisation, and expressive movement, dancers explore creativity using stories, games, music, and rhythmic patterns. SummerDance Creative Movement introduces young dancers ages 3- 5 to the joy of movement through an interactive and exploratory class experience. Dancers build coordination and musicality while practicing foundational skills such as balancing, marching, jumping, and twirling.

SummerDance Jazz for ages 6- 8 offers a fun and expressive introduction to the fundamentals of jazz dance and its vocabulary. Dancers explore essential elements such as isolations, rhythm, syncopation, jumps, turns, and dynamic choreography.

SummerDance Jazz for ages 9- 12 builds on foundational jazz technique while expanding dancers’ understanding of intermediate jazz vocabulary. Classes reinforce proper alignment, strength, flexibility, and expressive movement.
Dancers work on isolations, syncopation, rhythmic accuracy, jumps, turns, and choreography drawing from historical social dance and classical jazz curriculum. This 6-week series is ideal for dancers who enjoy popular music, and are ready for a dynamic jazz experience.
