Sasha Gologorskaya
Sasha Gologorskaya is a NYC-based dancer and educator, originally from Kiev, Ukraine. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and trained at the San Francisco Ballet School, before attending the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase, graduating summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance and a concentration in Ballet Performance. In her senior year at Purchase, Sasha was featured in the NY Times for performances at BAM Fisher, where she danced the featured pas de deux in Luca Veggetti's reimagined version of Jerome Robbins’ Watermill. Sasha has performed with ARC Dance in Seattle, Eglevsky Ballet, MorDance, Peninsula Ballet Theatre, Menlowe Ballet, em(body) dance project, for Norte Maar’s Counterpointe 10, and for choreographer Marika Brussel. She is currently dancing with Hudson Ballet Theater and NYC-based dance theater company MeenMoves. As an educator, Sasha has taught a wide range of ages both in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York Tri State Area, and has been on faculty with Eglevsky Ballet School, ODC, Moving Arts Academy of Dance, and Roco Dance, amongst others. She is passionate about sharing the joy of dance with her students and strives to empower young dancers through movement and artistic expression. Sasha is very excited to be a part of the Steffi Nossen family this year!
