Dance Yoga Fusion Open Level: Elevate your energy with Yoga Dance Fusion. This class is a combination of asanas, accessible dance movement, stretching and strengthening, ending with a relaxing shavasana. This unique mix blends the playful freedom of dance with the awareness and presence of yoga.
Iyengar Level I: Iyengar Yoga emphasizes physical alignment and an expansive awareness for clarity of self-perception and understanding. Move in a safe, fun, and uplifting exploration of foundational poses to build mobility + stability in the body and mind. And enjoy the deep relaxation that can come after this work.
Level 1: Betsy’s level 1, slow flow class is a light, no-nonsense, uncomplicated approach to gently move the body, consciously breath, and always commences with a significant focus on a progressive deep relaxation at the end. As long as you can transition from standing to lying on the floor a couple of times during class, this experience will be accessible to you!
Mindful Movement Open Level: An opportunity to explore movement in your body with intention, this Mindful Movement practice will focus on all the ways the body can move. We’ll break down traditional yoga postures into their simplest forms, and put them back together to feel them in a different way; we’ll take our time with each posture and movement, exploring how they feel and touching on each part of the body from head to toe. You can expect thoughtful sequencing and natural movements that you can take with you into your daily life. And practice always ends with a long, luxurious restorative pose to give your body the opportunity to rest and enjoy the benefits of a thoughtful movement practice. Open to all levels.
Strong Level 1: Breathe easy and feel complete in your body in this Strong Level I class. Clear away some mental and physical cobwebs and get excited by playful movements designed to help you find ease. We’ll enjoy a variety of movements that flow and ease into moving well and feeling good.
Strong Level 1-2: Deirdre teaches a creative and playful form of vinyasa yoga that emphasizes the link with breath and movement. Each class is quite different and dynamic and postures are sequenced in a way to help increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and most importantly, allow you to tune into your body’s own rhythm. Classes are challenging, yet modifications are given for all levels of practitioners. Expect an intentional warm up followed by a core flow to get your heart rate up.
