Annual Community and Benefit Concerts
will be held at SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center on March 29, 30 & 31,
2012. The Community Concerts are free of charge to clients of social service
agencies, inner city community groups, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities.
We would love to help you arrange for your favorite agency to attend!

The Cardinal McCloskey
Day Program Dance Group performed at Byram Hills
HS on March 26th as part of the school district’s Global Village Day
celebrating differences within the community – different countries of
origin as well as differences in abilities. The group takes weekly dance
classes with faculty member Christian Claessens as part of the Steffi
Nossen School of Dance community outreach programming.

Karen Greenspan on her election
to the ArtsWestchester Board of Trustees. Mother of 2011 graduate of
the Steffi Nossen Dance Company, Karen has been actively involved with
the arts in the Chappaqua schools where she resides , in a variety of
capacities and has had an extensive career in the retail industry
Sarah Friedman (Right), on her admission
to the Junior Division Fellowship Program of the Ailey School, a training
program for high school students between the ages of 15 and 17 who show
the highest potential for a career in dance. Sarah, a 2011 graduate
of the Steffi Nossen Dance Company, began dance at the Scarsdale classes
Steffi Nossen School of Dance as a fifth grader and entering the Steffi
Nossen Master Class program the following year. We applaud this outstanding
accomplishment.

The Dance in Education Fund provides a variety of services to the professional
dance community supporting emerging and established artists: space grants
for the creation and rehearsal of work, commissions, and participation
in our Choreography Showcases.
